Crest gives community groups a cash boost

CREST Co-operative has awarded £4924.90 to community groups across Conwy since July 2012. This week six projects were awarded grants. Support 2 Communicate, which is run by Conwy Stroke Group, received a funding boost to purchase a second hand computer. Children in need sponsored walk

The group of adults, who all have learning or physical disabilities, were joined by Crest Co-operative’s mascot Tommy Textile. The team of staff walked along the Llandudno promenade for two miles. Donations are still flooding in, but the team hope to raise more than £500 for the cause.
