On Tuesday 27th of May, the Vinici Facilities team and some of their family members came down to Crest to volunteer their time for the day.
As a part of the organisations annual Stand Out Make A Difference events the team emerged themselves in all things Crest. From helping out in our poly tunnels growing vegetables for our foodbank, playing on Crest Radio to helping out in our foodbank.
The team got to spend time with Crest’s volunteers, staff and beneficiaries to really get a feel for the range of community work that goes on across the Crest sites each day.
Commenting after the day Rod Williams, Managing Director, said:
“We are so grateful for all the hard work of the Vinici Facilities team. They turned up and made a real difference!
“As an organisation we are always keen to showcase the breadth of work that we are doing in the local community, and I hope that the team found their time with us insightful and meaningful.
“We hope to be working with Vinici again the future but in the meantime, all I can say is a massive thank you to the entire team for their hard work. You have made a real difference to our local community!”
Carla Jones, Facilities Coordinator at Vinci Facilities, added:
“The Feedback has been that all our team thoroughly enjoyed the experience, felt that they were giving back to the community, it was heartwarming.
“The hospital that Crest provided was above and beyond and we felt welcomed.
“Everything was fantastic, from the moment we arrived, the briefing, the hospitality and the whole experience.”
