Elliot Anderson came to Crest through the back to work ACE programme after being unemployed for six months. Following the completion of the programme Elliot stayed on as a valued volunteer in Crests’ eBay department.
Today we are incredibly proud to celebrate that Elliot has completed more than 500 voluntary hours with our eBay department. Supporting Hari and Will to transform the department and even nominating the team for the 2025 eBay awards!
Elliot has become a much-valued member of the extended Crest family.
Commenting on his time as a volunteer at Crest Elliot said:
“I really value the positive and supportive ethos that exists at Crest and this has really helped me to balance my commitments as a carer for my partner.
“My volunteering role has been a lifeline for me over recent months and has given me a supportive and positive environment outside of my home and supported to me socialise with so many people.
“My wellbeing has benefited massively from my time at Crest, and it has been so rewarding to be apart of a bigger team that is serving our community.”
Thanking Elliot for his ongoing support, Rod Williams, Managing Director of Crest added:
“Elliot has been an incredible support for the eBay team and the wider Retail team. Elliot is absolutely apart of the Crest family here and we are so grateful for his continued contribution.
“500 hours of volunteering is amazing and from everyone at Crest I want to thank Elliot.”
With the eBay team continuing to expand, in part thanks to Elliots hard work, Crest has now been able to offer Elliot a part-time paid role in the eBay department.
Well done, Elliot!
