Crest have recently donated a washing machine to Hope Restored, a charity based in Llandudno who help the homeless and vulnerable. This washing machine will help the charity to wash clothes for homeless and vulnerable individuals who may not have washing facilities available to them. “This is going to make a massive difference to those who use our drop in facilities, which have recently re-opened after the recent lockdown”, Brenda Fogg, founder of Hope Restored, explained. “It’s a massive thing for these people, having clean clothes. They can’t afford a washing machine or even to use the laundrette, so being able to have their clothes washed means the world to them. We used to foot the bill for them to use the laundrette, so it also saves our charity money too.”
Crest have a long standing relationship with Hope Restored, providing the charity with rescued surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill. “Crest have been a massive help to us, we thank them for all their continued support!”, Brenda summarised.
