Business Waste Collections

We can provide a commercial waste collection service to companies throughout North Wales. The types of waste materials that we can collect are end of line products, slightly damaged items and customer returns ranging from general household goods, furniture and electrical items.

Timber Collections

We offer a unique service to companies who produce timber waste – either new or used. All types and conditions of timber are collected from the company’s site on either a regular basis or one off clearances. We offer very competitive prices for this service.

Bulky Garden Waste Collections

Kerbside Textile Recycling Service

Crest Co-operative collect your old textiles for recycling on the same day as your green recycling box with the kerbside collection

How does it work?

Please put all textile items for recycling in the PURPLE BAG and place out with your green box on your usual collection day. Please make sure the bag is out by 7.00am and it will be collected by 6.00pm.

What do we collect?

• clothes for babies, children, and adults,

• paired shoes, handbags, belts

• household textiles, curtains, bedding and towels

No duvets, bric-a-brac, soiled items or pillows, thank you.

How will I get a new bag?

Once your bag has been picked up, the collection team will leave you a new bag so you can fill it again. Or contact Crest on 01492 596783 and they will send one out to you on request.

If you do not have any textile recycling at present, please keep your bag to use in the future.

What happens to the clothes next?

The service creates valuable work experience opportunities for long term unemployed and people with learning disabilities.

The textiles are sorted and any children's clothing, shoes, bags and belts will be re-sold at the Community Store, at a low cost to everyone. All other clothing is sent to developing countries.

Textile Banks

In order to provide a textile collection service to rural communities of Conwy, Crest have placed blue textile banks in the areas below.

For every tonne of textiles you recycle in the new blue textile bank,

Crest Co-operative will pay £200 to the school local to where the bank is placed.

The more you recycle the more you will raise for the school.
