Crest Community Services
Crest provide a wide range of opportunities for personal development to unemployed people, adults with a learning disability, adults and youth offenders.
Through targeted programmes we can help individuals build their confidence, give them up to date work experience in our community businesses and help them gain up to date qualifications. On a number of our programmes we can even pay individuals a wage whilst they are training.

Services for Adults with a Learning Disability
Crest provides a supported work opportunity service to individuals with a learning disability within its community businesses. All persons are supported by qualified support workers to assist them in their work tasks and individual needs.

Opportunities for the Unemployed


From time to time Crest have a limited number of places available to unemployed people to assist them in gaining new skills and getting back into work. To find out if any services are currently available contact the Office Manager on 01492 596783.
Opportunities for Volunteers
We provide a range of volunteering opportunities within all areas of the company and many of our volunteers have gone on to secure employment locally. Contact Wendy at volunteering@crestcooperative.co.uk for more information about voulunteering and the variety of opportunities available.
THE ACE (Assisted Community Enagagement) project
Crest have developed and run 2 ACE programmes to date. Adults who have been referred to us by their Probation Officer or DIP worker, or similar, work at Crest for a period of approximately 20 weeks, thus gaining invaluable work experience and help with life and social skills, as well as job search skills and some basic work-related training opportunities.Places are very limited and in high demand, so if you feel this opportunity may benefit you, please contact your own Probations officer or DIP worker who may be able to refer you to Crest.
